"Seussical," Ballyhoo Theatre, Black Box Theatre at Edmonds College, Edmonds

Seussical (Theatre for Youth Audiences), written by Tony-winners Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, brings to life all of our favorite Dr. Seuss characters, including Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, Mayzie La Bird and a little boy with a big imagination – Jojo. The Cat in the Hat tells the story of Horton, an elephant who discovers a speck of dust containing Whos, including Jojo, who has too many "thinks." Horton faces a double challenge – not only must he protect the Whos from a world of naysayers, but he must guard an abandoned egg, left to his care by the irresponsible Mayzie. Although Horton faces many obstacles, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, chosen family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant.

All tickets are free.   Click here for tickets, showtimes, and more info.

"Circle Mirror Transformation," InD Theatre, Rolling Bay Hall, Whidby Island

In the quiet town of Shirley, Vermont, a quintet of strangers—a vulnerable carpenter, a reserved teenager, a wandering actress, and a bohemian couple—gather in a community center for a six-week "creative drama" class. Through a series of quirky theater games led by their well-meaning instructor, the group’s defenses slowly unravel, exposing their hidden hopes, fears, and desires. As laughter and vulnerability collide, secrets simmer beneath the surface, and every moment holds the possibility of transformation. Annie Baker’s acclaimed play invites audiences to witness the humor, heartbreak, and longing that connect us all—and to discover what happens when ordinary lives intersect in extraordinary ways.

All tickets are free.  Click here for tickets and more info.

"I will miss you when you're gone," The Shattered Glass Project, Theatre Off Jackson, International District

Celeste tries to contact her dead mother Theresa, but instead is haunted by Evelyn. Evelyn jumped off the top of her office building, run by Robin. Robin just wants to get these files in order, until the spirit of Theresa shows up. A “lonesome country song about grief and bureaucracy.”

"Inclusion" tickets available for $5 for all performances.  Click here for tickets, showtimes, and more info.

"Chick Fight!," Artemis Theatre Project, Yaw Theatre, Georgetown

Chick Fight! begins in an ordinary theater, where two women’s night out goes wildly off‑script. When one starts texting during the show, the argument that follows cracks open something deeper—summoning a mysterious voice that orders them into a surreal, no-holds-barred battle royale. As they plunge through shifting worlds—slumber parties, game shows, and superhero smackdowns —the women battle not just the forces that pit them against each other, but the wild impulses that rise up from within. Funny, fierce and heartbreakingly human,  Chick Fight! exposes how impossible it is to keep the peace when the system, and maybe our own blood, begs for a fight.

"Art is for Everyone!" tickets available for $10.50 with processing fee.  Click here for tickets and more info.
