West Seattle Community Orchestra performs concerts at Chief Sealth International High School, as well as some parks in West Seattle. It is compromised of volunteer musicians throughout the area, including a large contingent of local students.

Our mission: WSCO provides community musicians of all ages and abilities with opportunities for performance and growth.
Our Vision: To inspire the enjoyment of music-making through instruction and mentoring in mixed-age ensembles culminating in quality group performances.

Programs:
West Seattle Community Orchestra's programs include multiple orchestras that are open to community members across the decades, both students and adults. They have separate beginning strings ensembles for students and adults, as well as several different ensembles including a full symphony orchestra, a wind symphony, and a concert orchestra. Their educational outreach includes instrument petting zoos at local community events and community play-a-longs, where anyone from the community can register ahead and play as part of a concert in the park.
