"GOLD:  A Tru-ish Jewish Story" Annex Theatre, Capitol Hill

When 19-year-old Frankie inherits her late grandfather’s little black book, she goes on a cross-country road trip to meet his mistresses. As she and her college bestie travel across the United States and through decades of her family’s secret history, she learns not just who her grandfather truly was…but also a key to her own identity. GOLD is a funny and relatable drama about what we leave behind. And also, some psychedelic dinosaurs.

All performances have either PWYC tickets or Sliding Scale options starting at $5.   Click here for tickets and showtimes.

"Where is Here?," Seattle Public Theatre, Greenlake

Azam Kabiri, a recent immigrant, is excited to tell passersby about her life back in Iran as she waits for her luggage at an airport baggage carousel... but isn't the luggage on the carousel starting to get strangely personal? What did she bring in her two pieces of luggage, and what did she leave behind? Performed both in English and in Persian, Where Is Here is a stunning solo-show from the mind of playwright Naghmeh Samini that delves into the reality of the immigrant experience.

“Art is for Everyone” tickets are available online for $10.  Limited to 12 seats per performance. Select performances are in Persian.  Click here for tickets and showtimes.
