Pork Filled Productions (PFP) is the oldest Asian American theatre company in the Pacific Northwest.  They started as a sketch comedy troupe in 1998, and started transitioning to full length plays in 2007.   They highlight Asian-American stories and talent in plays that include imaginative, fantastical, and fun universes.  Asian Americans are currently 20% of the population of the Seattle area, but only comprise 5% of theatrical roles, so PFP is aiming to provide representation for those who may otherwise be overlooked.

Financially Accessible Tickets

PFP offers "Access" tickets for their performances starting at $10.  They also participate in TeenTix, and also offer targeted discounts to communities represented in each given production.

Volunteer Opportunities

PFP is all volunteer-run.  They look to engage people willing to work, especially Asian-Americans, and are eager to help indulge the curiosity of those interested in theatre.  No prior experience or training is required.  Volunteers get to see the show that they are assisting, and know that they are helping with the cause of representation for Asian Americans.
